    Comments: Private Heathcock was a member of Company B, 1st Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. On December 4, 1951, he was blasting rock at Hill 355, near Kyom Yong-ni, North Korea when a flying rock struck him in the head killing him.

He was listed as Missing in Action while delaying the massive Chinese forces along the road from Tokchon to Kunu-ri, North Korea to permit the withdrawal of the remainder of the division on November 27, 1950. He was presumed dead on January 14, 1954.

    Doyle's parents were William Roosevelt Skidmore and Minnie Suttles.
