BARLET, BOYD, CAROLL, CRABTREE, GALE, HOLT, MORGAN, PURSIFULL, RUNNEL, STARK, TINDLE posted by Wayne Carroll on Thursday, February 27, 1997

To whom it may concern: I have just begun to do my family history and this looks like a good place to start. I see one surname that belongs in my family history. That is the name of CRABTREE. However there are many others that do not appear on your list. My Mothers maiden name is MORGAN. Her Dad's name was John Thomas MORGAN. His Das was William Greene MORGAN and is buried at the Antioch Cemetary in Hartshorn. However, William Greene MORGAN'S Tombstone says William Henry MORGAN. Don't know how that mistake was made. Other family surnames are: BARLET, GALE, STARK, TINDLE, BOYD, PURSIFULL. There are others still, and most of the persons buried at the Antioch cemetary could be and should be related. I have a Cousin named Alida HOLT that has been doing her family history for fourteen years. She lives in Success, Missouri with her husband James Raymond HOLT. William Greene MORGAN and his family moved into Missouri from Tennessee. He came with his Father Joel and his Mother Patsy 'RUNNEL' MORGAN They brought Sarah bd 6-6-1826, Henry bd 2-26-1828, Ellender bd 12-4-1831, Mary J. bd 1-28- 1833, William Greene bd 6-22-1838, and John S. MORGAN bd 8-27-1841. They all came to Missouri from Tennessee. I hope that this will give you some place to start and I think this internet things is helping a lot. Hope to hear from someone soon. Sincerly Yours, Wayne CAROLL.
