- (Pam) My Uncle was born and raised in Matthews, Missouri. He was the son of Forest Ball and Josie Ball (Fulkerson). He joined the U.S. Army during WWII and he starved to death in a Japanese Prison Camp. He is mentioned in the book "Oh God, Where Are You" written by Abie Abraham.
