Miss Jennie Satterfield, daughter of the late W. M. Satterfield of Kennett and a niece of Circuit Clerk Mott, of our city was married Oct 28th at Senath to John A. Reagan of Cape Girardeau.

Biship Pleasant, died at his residence at Pt. Pleasant on Oct 23rd. , aged 77 years, 8 months, and 5 days. The deceased was one of the oldest and most prominent citizens, having resided here nearly all his life, He was born at Cape Girardeau co, but moved to New Madrid when quite young. For a number of years he was in the mercantile business here with his brother J. G. Biship. He has been living in Pt. Pleasant over 30 years. He was married three times, his last wife surviving. Him. He left four children, viz: J. H. Biship., Mrs. Emma Timberman, Mrs. Ella Farmer, and Ed. Biship. The interment took place Sunday Oct 24th and the remains were laid to rest in the Evans graveyard one mile west of Pt. Pleasant under the auspices of the Masonic fraternity.

Montague, George, aged 6 years , 6 months, died in this city, Thur Oct 21, at 11 pm, son of Mr. And Mrs. George Montague.

D. A. Mitchell a young man of East Prairie, who married Miss Effie Dunn of this city last Saturday, died this morning after a three day spell of sickness. He died of paralysis. (Charleston Enterprise Oct 23).
