W. T. McCoy and Miss Martha I. Clark, both of Morehouse were in the city Friday Nov 13 and procured a license to marry, were married on the 13th, and the license was recorded on p. 13 of the book. (Charleston Enterprise).

Hayward Happenings:
J. E. Jarvis died last Friday at the residence of Mrs. Dowler.

C. B. Richards exhumed the body of Miss Buela Lowe, daughter of Reb. And Mrs., W. Lowe, who died Jan 2, 1897, yesterday and the same was shipped to St. Louis, and will be reinterred at Bellefontaine Cemetery.

The wife of James Chapman is very low and not expected to live.

Died, Saturday night Nov 13th, Clara, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. John Brown of Big Prairie, aged 9 year, cause of death was measles.

Mrs. Mary Matthews, aged 68 years 7 mo and 20 days, died at the residence of her son John Matthews At Sikeston, Nov 1.
