Two of our citizens have been gladdened b Christmas presents from Uncle Sam in the shape of pensions. We understand that Mrs. Maggie A. Long, widow of the late Elias Long received a pension check for over $700 and was placed on the monthly pay roll of pensioner at $8.00 per month. Also that T. R. Pangle received a check for $129 and will get $6 per month. Miss Ella Shanks of Sikeston is the guest of her aunt, Mrs. Maggie Gray.
