Broughton-Watson. Wed. Jan 26th, at the home of the bride’s mother, Mr. Jesse Broughton and Miss Neville Watson. The groom is a son, and youngest child of the late J. M. Broughton and Mrs. Louisa Broughton, ... The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Virginia Watson, ... The happy couple went to the home of the groom’s mother five miles south of this city, where they will reside.

The death angel has entered the home of Mr. Gus LaFont and claimed for his own, Willie, his little eight year old son.

Mrs. Brinkley left today to visit her sister, Miss Lille Wakefield, at Pine Bluff.

Lafferney, Wm., died at his home in LeSieur Twp., of consumption Jan 14th. He leaves a widow but no children.

LaFont., Mrs. Elizabeth, died at the home of her son, Judge L. F. LaFont, in Portageville, Jan 16th 1898, relict of the late Judge Robert L. LaFont, aged 68 years, 11 months and 17 days.
