A Midgett. At 1 o’clock yesterday afternoon, Feb 23, a 1 ˝ lb baby boy was born to Mr. And Mrs. Clay Caldwell. The baby is 13 inches long and 6 inches around the body, three inches around the thigh and it’s head would go into an ordinary sized teacup. The little fellow is perfect every way and no doubt will live. Mr and Mrs Caldwell have been married 13 years and 7 years ago a child even smaller than this was born to them. The mother is doing well.

Mrs. Eva Tanner wife of Alex Tanner died last week near Stewarts and was buried in the Hayward cemetery.

Married Thursday Feb 24th by Squire Joel Cook at his office, Charles Pistol and Miss Mary L Pikey both of Portageville.

A very quiet wedding occurred at the residence of Mr and Mrs T E Bellon last wed afternoon Feb 16th the contracting parties being Miss Nellie B., daughter of Mr. And Mrs. A T Hall and Thomas B. Phillips, son of W. B. Phillips. Rev A T Osbron officiating.

Wednesday at high noon was solemnized the marriage of MR. James R. Pharris and Miss Lillian M. Wright at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. And Mrs Z T Wright seven miles north of this city. The bridegroom is the eldest son of Mr and Mrs. Wm Pharris, very prominent people of Big Prairie Twp. ...
