At 4 oclock pm Sunday June 26th 1898 at his residence n Pt,. Pleasant, Mr. Freeman LeSieur died age 76 years. The deceased was a native of New Madrid County and was one of our oldest and most respected citizens. He had been sick for a long time and his death had been momentarily expected for some days previous. The remains were interred in the burying ground on the Wm. Till farm, two miles from Pt. Pleasant, Monday last,. The deceased leaves surviving him his widow and daughters, Emma, wife of Jesse DeLisle, and Frances, Wife of James DeLisle, and son John LeSieur. A host of friends mourn his demise and extend their deep sympathy to his family and relatives.
