Father Furlong held services Monday Tuesday and Wednesday of this week at the DeLisle hall in Portageville, and good attendance at each service.

Andrew Young, aged about 14 years, son of Mr. And Mrs. John Young of Portageville, died at the residence of his parents last Tuesday after a brief illness with brain fever. The remains were interred in the DeLisle Graveyard Tuesday and services were conducted by father Furlong. Andy as the deceased was called, was a good an dutiful son, and his sudden death was a great shock to his parents.

The remains of John Reynolds of Morehouse was buried at te Oak Grove Cemetery near this place on the 12th inst. Charleston Enterprise.
