Born to Mr. And Mrs. J. F. Bailey in St Louis, Feb 4, a daughter

DOLLAR, Mrs. F. C.,died at her residence near Portageville on Wed Feb 7, Her husband and 5 children survive her. She was about 35 years of age.

The Caruthersville Daily Press of Monday last chronicled the death on Sunday morning Feb 11 of Mrs. Martha Michell., of pneumonia at the age of 56 years, 1 month and 17 days. She was the daughter of the late Arthur F. and Mary Ann Eastwood and relict of Joseph Michell, who was drowned in the river below Caruthersville, June 6, 1872. Three children survive her: Mrs. Eva, wife of Ollie Ferguson of Caruthersville Mrs. Lois, wife of E. A. M. Webb of Brinkley Ark, and Joseph Michell of Caruthersville.

MATTHEWS, Henry, son of John Matthews of this city died last Sunday at the residence of his parents in the Hatton house in the western part of the city, and was buried Monday in the Welshans graveyard.

HUTTON, John, son of our former citizen, J .W. Hutton, died at Cape Girardeau Feb 2d, the young man was ascending a stairway and lost his footing and fell, sustaining injuries from which he died in two days.
