Born to Mr. And Mrs. Jim Tatum on the 18th inst a boy (Portageville)

Brad Hogan died on the 19th, of pneumonia, aged about 30 years. (Portageville)

Chas Green, who resided up near Dry Bayou, died one day last week.

Died at her home in the Ristine neighborhood, Mrs Jane Sutton. She leaves four children.

Chas Rice, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas Rice, age about 25 years, died at the residence of his parents three miles northeast of this city last Monday.

Samuel Hufstedler died at his home on Scrub Ridge last Saturday Mar 17. He was an exemplary citizen and his loss is regretted. He was about 32 years of age and leaves a wife and two children. He was sick with typhoid fever but the immediate cause of his death was hiccoughs with which he suffered for two or three days.

Ive Hendricks and Mrs. Mangrum were married in Caruthersville last week.
