Miss Laura Cresap of Sikeston visited her sister Miss Lillian here last Sunday.

Wm. Rhodes, a respected farmer, living two miles west of Malden, on Monday of last week dropped dead from heart disease while working in his hog pen.

Miss Mamie Phillips , daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Richard Phillips and granddaughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. John E. Powell, was married at the residence of Mr. And Mrs. H. Spiva, of Leighton Ala, to A. D. DeLoney, a civil engineer in the employ of the Iron Mountain railroad. The couple arrived here last Thursday and visited relatives a few days.
