Married Sunday June 24, 1900 amid rain showers and torrents of rain, Mr. George F. Klimbaugh and Miss Ida May Diviney, Rev. J. T. Tracy officiating.

The woodmen of the world of Malden will unveil a monument over the grave of Sovereign P. Copeland July 8.

Born to Mr. And Mrs. Ed. Pool of West Plains, MO a 9 lb girl.

Mrs. Nana Bush, of Medina, Tenn., sister of T. L. Jackson fo this city, died about two weeks ago aged about 30 years. He husband and one child survive her. Mr. Jackson received a telegram announcing the sad intelligence but not in time to attend the funeral.

Rev. L. H. Brown, principal of our colored school, and pastor of the C. M. E. Church was called to St. Louis Monday by telegram to perform the ceremony between W. . Robinson our enterprising colored second-hand dealer and Emma Waters, colored, ex-assistant teacher of the public school.

There was a marriage license issued the other day to D. w. Wagner and Mrs. Sarah Jane Mozeley. Mrs. Mozeley is the widow of the late and respected Canady Mozeley and the groom, well, he had to have his papas consent as he was not old enough to wed without it. (Caruthersville Press)
