Aug. 29, 1950-April 11, 1988 Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Regina Bullock of Wardell were held Wednesday, April 13, at 3:00 p.m. at the North Pemiscot High School Gymnasium. Todd Padfield and Bob Carrington officiated. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, MO. Nancy was born August 29, 1950, in Blytheville, AR, to Chip P. and Bernice Wilson Smith. She died Monday, April 11, 1988 at Twin Rivers Medical Center in Kennett, MO at the age of 37. Given six months to a year to live when cancer was diagnosed in 1986, Nancy battled her disease valiantly. She had support from the community as well as her family. On July 26, 1973, in Wardell, she married Jerry Bullock. She leaves her husband, Jerry, of Wardell; one son, Jerry Nathan Bullock of the home; one daughter, Elizabeth Bernice Bullock of the home; her father, Chip Pinkney Smith of Wardell; one brother, Chip Joseph Smith of Steele, MO; one sister, Darice Mary Etta Sheckell of Wardell, and her grandparents, Charlie and Golden Smith of Steele. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Wilson Smith. Pallbearers were: Joe Pettigrew, Wayne Doss, Leon Curtis, Ed Brogden, Jerry Dodson, and Johnny Wallace. The Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home was in charge of funeral services.
