Mar. 3, 1927-July 11, 1990 Sikeston Standard, Sikeston, MO Samuel Edward Bell, 63, of Kennett, formerly of this area, died July 11, 1990 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. Born March 3, 1927 at the Dry Bayou area in Pemiscot County, he was the son of Harry Stanley and Effie Mae Head Bell. He is survived by one son, Bobby Joe Bell, of Lansdowne, PA; one daughter, Judy Gail Freed of Mission Viejo, CA; one brother, Larry Bell, of Scottsdale, AZ; two sisters, Mary Ann Flowers of Hayti and Hazel Shrull of Sikeston; and a special friend, Hazel King of Kennett; and three grandchildren. Services were July 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, the Rev. Charles Greene, pastor of Elm Street Baptist Church of Charleston, officiating.
