Feb. 4, 1908-May 18, 1995 Mary Mable Owens Estes 87, of 41 Oak Street, East Prairie, MO, died May 18, 1995 at her residence. Born Feb. 4, 1908 in Wardell, MO, daughter of William Penn and Nevada Miller Owens, she had lived in Mississippi County most of her life and was a member of the First Christian Church of East Prairie. Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Ruth) Adkisson of East Prairie; two grandchildren, Rex Adkisson of East Prairie and Paula Adkisson Mann of Little Rock, AR; three great grandchildren, Shane Adkisson of St. Charles, MO, Dawn Adkisson of East Prairie, MO; Jason Mann, Brian Mann, and Stephanie Mann of Little Rock, AR. Her husband, William Alvin Estes, and three brothers preceded her in death. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Home where services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Martin Lucas, associate pastor of First Christian Church officiating.
