Feb. 16, 1923-Dec. 13, 1996 Helen L. Fout was born Feb. 16, 1923, in Kennett, MO to Fred and Ethel Bracy Lack. She was the first of seven children. Helen died Friday, Dec. 13, 1996 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY. She was a member of the Mount Olive Presbyterian Church, Eastview, KY. She was united in marriage to Alfred O. Fout on January 3, 1946. God blessed this union with four children, three daughters and one son. During her life, she was a foster parent and a Nurse’s aide at Norton’s Children Hospital and other numerous nursing homes. Her greatest joy in life was in caring for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other people’s children. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Alfred O. Fout; four children, Nancy Perry of Louisville, KY, Kay Knight of Carlinville, IL, Judy Jackson of Eastview, KY, and Terry Fout of Louisville, KY; her mother, Ethel Lack of Gans, OK, her sisters, Myrtle Riva from Bethalto, IL, June Tinney, and Lynn Gee of Gans, OK; her brothers, Nelson, and Coy of Roland, OK, and Bill Lack of Coffeyville, KS; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Services were at 1p.m. Dec. 17, 1996 at Rogers Funeral Home with Bro. George Loveless and Bro. Brian Gary officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
