Dec. 22, 1912-June 23, 1994 Mrs. Gladys Alberta George, 81, of Wardell, died June 23, 1994 in Hayti, MO. Born December 22, 1912 in Wardell, MO, she was the daughter of John Franklin and Flossie Mae Anderson Miller. She was the widow of Herman George. She is survived by a son, Rodney Max George, Sr., of Colorado, Springs, CO; a sister, Mrs. Nettie Hopkins of Memphis, TN; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, John Franklin George. Services were held June 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti, MO. Don Reel officiated with burial in Pemiscot Memorial Gardens in Caruthersville. Pallbearers were Olen Goodale, Don Abernethy, Paul Johnson, Ben Malone, Bill Broderick, and Ralph Clayton.
