April 27, 1908-April 19, 1985 Herman George, 76, of Caruthersville, died April 19, 1985, at Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville, AR. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys George of Caruthersville; one son, Rodney Max George, Sr. of Colorado Springs, CO; one sister, Mrs. May Johnson of Duncan, MS; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, John Franklin George. Services were held at 3:00 p.m. at Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti, MO. Jimmy Colvett officiated with burial in Pemiscot Memorial Gardens in Caruthersville. Pallbearers were Perry McDonald, Ben Malone, Olen Goodale, Donald Prost, Bob Jones and Jack Malone.
