Jul. 26, 1906-Mar. 5, 1984 Sikeston Standard, Sikeston, MO Thelma Miller Lee, 79, a resident of Sikeston Convalescent Center, died Wednesday, March 5, 1984. She was born July 26, 1906 in Wardell to the late Ruben and Stella Canoy Miller. She was married to Wallace Lee, Sr. who preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Wallace Lee, Jr., of the Sikeston Convalescent Center; one daughter, Jean Hicke of Tinley Park, IL; two brothers, Herman Miller of Dudley, MO and Vernon Miller of Michigan; one sister, Mrs. Ruby Miller Lynn of St. Louis; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Three brothers, Elmer, Raymond, and Kenneth Miller preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Friday March 7, at Crews-Welch and Ponder Chapel with Rev. S.F. Hicke officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston. Pallbearers were Glenn Bond, Elzie Graham, Charles Campbell, LaVerne Wilson, Cecil Wallace and Marvin Wallace.
