Jul. 10, 1927-Dec. 2, 2004 Ethridge B. “Eck” Lack, 77, of Poplar Bluff died Thrusday, Dec. 2, 2004, at his residence. Mr. Lack was born July 10, 1927, at Gideon. Retired from General Motors, he was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed spending time with his family, doing yard work and fishing. On August 21, 1950, he married Mary Louise Chapman in Piggott, AR. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Linda Charlene Null of Dexter and Cheryl Ann Hartline of Poplar Bluff; one son, James Doyle Lack of Dexter; one sister, Darlene Shipman of Vancouver, WA; four brothers, Jesse Lack of Scotland, AR, Ernest Lack and Carroll Wayne Lack, both of Vancouver, WA, and Lovell Lack of Canby, OR; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation was at 1 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service followed at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Fred Wilson officiating.
