![]() June 29, 1931-Aug. 30, 2005 William Ernest Lack, 74, died Aug. 30, 2005 at his home in Vancouver, WA. He was born June 29, 1931, in Wardell, MO, the son of the late Henry Clay and Cora Bracy Lack. He had been a resident of Vancouver for 53 years. He served in the army in the Korean War, earning a Purple Heart, and attaining the rank of Master Sergeant. He was preceded in death by both parents, two sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Fay Lack; sons, William Gordon and Edward Clay Lack both of Vancouver; brothers Carrell Lack of Vancouver, Lovelle Lack of Canby, OR and Jesse Lack of AR. A memorial service will be held at Walnut Grove Church on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005 at 11 a.m. Following the service there will be a full military tribute at graveside services at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. ![]() Army Veteran NOTE: This site is a AHGP Project which is a volunteer genealogical organization dedicated to the free access of genealogical information.
