DOYLE MILLER JULY 13, 1931-MARCH 8, 1975 Funeral services for Doyle “Hoover” Miller, 43, of Wardell, who died Saturday, March 8 at the Medical Lodge Nursing Home in Farmington, MO, were held Monday at the Church of Christ in Wardell with Bro. John R. Owens officiating. The son of the late Lon and Hester Miller, he ws born July 13, 1931, in Wardell. He was married to Mary Ellen Clifton June 28, 1952, in Piggott, AR. Mr. Miller was a member of the Church of Christ in Wardell. During the active part of his life he worked as a service station operator and mechanic. Surviving are his wife, four sons: Rodney, Billy, Gary, and Bruce of the home; three daughters, Kathy and Shelia of the home and Connie of Tallahassee, FL; two brothers, John of Wathena, KS, and L.J. of Bonne Terre, MO; three sisters, Dolly Montgomery of Flat River, MO; Linda Stills of Judsonia, AR and Nellie Wilson of Sikeston, MO, and one granddaughter. Pallbearers were Johnny Wallace, Jimmy Wallace, Jewel Mathis, John Burl Mathis, Thad Angotti and Chip Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Jesse Byrd, Pat Palmer, and Henry Boshears.
