STELLA CANOY MILLER Sept. 27, 1886-July 19, 1971 Wardell---Mrs. Stella Mae Miller, 84, died Saturday in the Rudolph Rest Home in Patucah, KY. She was born in Bertrand, MO, Sept. 27, 1886, the daughter of Will Canoy . She married Ruben Miller of Wardell August 11, 1903 in Sikeston, MO. He passed away Jan. 22, 1955. Survivors include four sons: Elmer Miller of Waverly, TN; Vernon Miller of Colomo, MI; and Herman and Raymond Miller both of Paducah, KY; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Lee of Sikeston and Mrs. Ruby Lynn of St. Louis; 22 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Services were held Monday in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Gardner and Rev. Elven Hensley officiating. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery in Wardell with Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home in charge.
