DELLA MAE MILLER Sept. 27, 1910-Sept. 29, 2001 Missourian-News, Portageville, MO Oct. 4, 2001 Della May Miller, 91, died Sept 29, 2001, at Beverly Healthcare in New Madrid, MO . Born Sept. 27, 1910, in Wardell, MO, the daughter of the late Jake and Addie Clifton Estes, she was of the Baptist belief. In 1925, in Wardell she married George Miller who preceded her in death on Sept. 24, 1961. Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Lewis and Genevieve Miller of Wardell and John and Frances Miller of Malden; half sister, Alline Scott of Morehouse, half brothers, Hubert Hill of Morehouse and Woodrow Hill of Seminole, OK; one step-sister, Claudine Weaver, of Shreveport, LA; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. at Bradshaw-Osburn Chapel in Wardell. Rev. Griff Walker pastor of Wardell Baptist Church officiated. Burial was in Wardell Memorial Cemetery with Bradshaw-Osburn in charge of arrangements.
