ROY D. MILLER Aug. 15, 1930-Mar. 29, 1989 Daily American Republic Poplar Bluff, MO Coon Island—Roy D. Miller, 58 died at 4:27 p.m. Wednesday at his home. A farmer, he had been ill for about a year. Born Aug. 15, 1930, at Wardell, MO, he had lived in Butler County for 29 years. He was a member of the Church of the Firstborn at Naylor. Mr. Miller was married to Earlene Hampton on Aug. 18, 1949, at Piggott, AR. She survives. Also surviving are three sons: Ronald Miller, Terry Miller and Kenneth Miller, all of Neelyville; one daughter, Donna Stull of Neelyville; his mother, Ida Ann Miller, of Wardell; two sisters, Doris Tanner of Pocahontas, AR and Debbie Wilkins of Gideon; three brothers, Virgil Miller of Clarkton, James Miller and Lonnie Miller of Wardell; three grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and one step-great-great grandchild. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Parrent Funeral Home at Naylor with Bro. Bill Porter and Bro. Bob Toland officiating. Burial will be in Qulin Cemetery. Visitation is set for 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Archie Stull, Junior Buther, Richard Hill, Archie Godwin, Danny Sentell, Raymond Ferguson, Darreyl Hagen and Hank Decellis.
