MAMIE MILLER June 12, 1870-Aug. 10, 1954 Funeral services for Mamie Miller, 84, of Wardell, who died August 10 at Beans Nursing Home in Gideon, were held Aug. 13 at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Wardell with the Rev. Ray Bryant officiating. Burial was in Wardell Memorial Cemetery. She was born June 12, 1870 in Bloomfield. Survivors include three brothers, Paul Arnold Walker of Aurora, Claude Walker of Grass Valley, CA, and Harold Walker of Caruthersville; and one sister, Lucille Mayer of Dexter. She married Joseph Miller Feb. 24, 1909. He preceded her in death Aug. 21, 1966. She was also preceded in death by three brothers. Pallbearers were Gene Wilson, Sonnie Walker, Vernon Williams, Leon Curtis, Phil Ray, and Jewel Mathis.
