Oct. 27, 1908-March 6, 1982 Hildred (Hill) Harry Miller, died at his home in Wardell March 6, 1982, at the age of 73. He was born at Wardell Oct. 27, 1908, to the late John and Virgie Bradshaw Miller. Sept. 8, 1929, in Wardell he married Ida Buck, who survives. Funeral services were held March 8, 1982, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Wardell with Rev. Todd Radifield and Rev. Charles Echols officiating. Burial was in Wardell Memorial Cemetery with Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Ida Miller, Wardell; four sons, Roy Miller of Neelyville, Virgil of Clarkton, James Doyle and Lonnie of Wardell; two daughters, Doris Tanner, Pocahontas, AR, Debra Wilkins, Gideon, MO; 3 brothers, Clarence Miller, Wardell, Sherman Miller, Festus, MO and Junior Miller of Portageville; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 son, Curtis and 1 daughter, Laverne Whisnant. Pallbearers were Johnny Hankins, Robert Hooten, Jerry Bullock, Johnny Wallace, Bill Buck and Leon Curtis.
