Mar. 17, 1915-Aug.30, 1979 Mrs. Opal Bowman Miller passed away August 30, 1979, at her home in Michigan. She was born March 17, 1915, in Wardell and was the wife of Vernon Miller, who survives. Funeral services were conducted in Michigan prior to the return of the body to Wardell. Graveside services were conducted by her son, Rev. Doyle Miller, of Elks Grove, IL, at Wardell Memorial Cemetery with Osburn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Surviving are her husband, Vernon Miller; two daughters, Linda and Darlene; five sons, Doyle, Harold, Gerald, Sonnie and Ricky; three brothers, Avery, of Wardell, Odell of St. Joseph, MO and G.H. Bowman of Wichita, KS. The Senior Citizens Ladies, along with many friends and neighbors, served dinner for the family at the Senior Citizens Club in Wardell.
