Glynn Medlin ![]() Tuesday, February 14, 2006 Glynn H. Medlin, 70, of Wardell, Mo., died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006, at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Mo. Born Nov. 26, 1935, in Caruthersville, Mo., son of the late Jessie J. and Bronrah Dora Pankey Medlin, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran, employed at Chris Craft and Colson Corporation factories and National Trust Life/American General Insurance Company. He also served as a lay minister. Survivors include his wife, Leilah Clayton Medlin; one daughter, Karen Medlin Sellars and husband, Johnny, of Caruthersville; one son, Glynn Jonathan "Jon" Medlin, of Wardell; two brothers, Walter Wright and wife, Wanda, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Douglas E. Medlin and wife, Doris, of Newbern, Tenn., and three sisters, Evelyn Strawn, of Caruthersville, Bonnie Young and husband, Lee Young, of Newbern and Doris J. Cole and husband, Irby, of Memphis, Tenn. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the Wardell Baptist Church with the Revs. Robert Griffen and Griff Walker officiating. Pallbearers were Mike, Bill and Hank Clayton, Tommy Montgomery, Roger Tarver and Joe Terrell. Honorary pallbearers were members of the men's senior adult Sunday school class of Wardell Baptist Church. John W.
