April 26, 1881-May 23, 1949 William Penn Owens was born April 26, 1881and died May23, 1949 in East Prairie, MO. He was married to Nevada “Vadie” Miller on April 7, 1902 in Wardell where he and his family lived for several years before moving to East Prairie. He is survived by his wife; three sons: Willie Swank Owens, Charlie Miller Owens, and George Holloway Owens, and one daughter, Mabel Owen Estes all of East Prairie. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 25, at 2:00 p.m. at the Methodist Church in East Prairie. Reverend H.L. Wagner will officiate. Interment at W.O.W. Cemetery in East Prairie.
