Feb. 15, 1954-July 26, 1990 East Prairie, MO—Joni Ellen Owens, 36, of 504 S. Center St. died July 26, 1990 at her home. Born Feb. 15, 1954, in Corona, CA, daughter of Bobby C. and Doris Marshall Owens of East Prairie who survive. She had lived in East Prairie since 1974. Employed by Brown Shoe Co. KCC of Charleston, MO, she was of the Protestant faith. In addition to her parents, surviving are: two brothers, Steve Owens of Titusville, FL and Gary Owens of Middle, Iowa; maternal grandmother, Virgie M. Owens of Ontario, CA. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home where services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. George White, pastor of First Baptist Church of East Prairie officiating.
