    BETTY PERRIN
    Mar. 10, 1930-Mar 5, 2007

    Betty J. Perrin, 76, died March 5, 2007, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO.

    Born March 10, 1930, in Hayti, to the late James Parker and Blanche Hughlett Bracy, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston. She had worked at Brown Shoe Company and had been a teacher’s aide at Sikeston Kindergarten and sixth grade.

    On June 19, 1948 in Pocahontas, AR, she married W.H. “Dub” Perrin, who survives of the home.

    Other survivors include; one daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Lynn and Randy Couch of Sikeston; and one granddaughter, Caitlyn Couch of Sikeston.

    One sister, Virginia Walker, and three brothers preceded her in death.

    Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Dr. Rick Ramsey, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate. He will be assisted by the Rev. Kelley Grubbs, pastor of Murray Lane Baptist Church and the Rev. Bob Medlock, a Baptist minister.

    Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.

    Pallbearers will be: Dolan Rogers, Charles Parks, Randol Couch, Charles Chaney, Bob Boyer and Bill Hicks.

    Honorary pallbearers will be: Lewis Phillips, Hubert Allred, and Gail Schamel.
