Dec. 26, 1898-Jan. 25, 1975 DAILY DUNKLIN DEMOCRAT Kennett, MO Jan. 29, 1975 Services for Mrs. Etta E. Wilson, Wardell, weere conducted Tuesday at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Braunt officiating. Burial was in Rowe Cemetery with Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home of Wardell in charge of arrangements. The daughter of the late Riley and Missouri Ellen Elliott, she was born Dec. 26, 1898, at Portageville, MO. On Dec. 18, 1918, at Caruthersville, MO, she was married to John Benjamin Wilson. Mrs. Wilson died Saturday, Jan. 25, 1975. She was 76. Survivors include her husband, John B. Wilson, Wardell; four sons: Jewel Wilson of Sikeston, MO, Gene Wilson of Wardell, MO, A.J. Wilson of Sidon, MS, and R.V. Wilson of Bowling Green, FL; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Smith, Wardell, MO, and Mrs. Edith Ballentine of Steele, MO; one sister, Mrs. Cynthia Wilson, Edwardsville, IL and 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons: Johnny Wilson, Harold Gene Wilson, Jay Gordon Wilson, Vernon Wilson, Greg Ballentine, and Dennis Wilson. Honorary pallbearers were also grandsons: Tim Ballentine, Jimmy Wilson, Gary Wilson, Dean Wilson, Don Wilson, Joe Wilson and Kendall Ballentine.
