Aug. 20, 1914-March 25, 2006 Vada Larie Hillin Woten, 91, of Wardell, MO, died Saturday, March 25, 2006, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett, MO. Born August 25, 1914, in Wardell, MO, a daughter of the late James Calvin and Martha Jane Miller Hillin, she was a homemaker. On May 21 at Portageville, MO, she married Isaac Woten who preceded her in death July 8, 2002. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lesa Woten; a son, Jimmy Franklin Woten; two brothers, George and Woodrow Hillin; two sisters, Maymie Hillin Hooker and Evelyn Hillin, and one grandson, Kelly Emmons. Survivors include one son, Richard Woten of Wyoming, Delaware, one daughter, Martha Faye Emmons of Holcomb, MO, and one brother, Andrew Hillin, of Wardell, MO; 8 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, at the Church of Christ in Wardell with Laddie Owens officiating. Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, MO.
