QRYTEXT: My Father, Ollie Foster, was born in Steele, MO, January 9, 1901. My paternal grandparents, John B. Foster and Alice Algerine Garner, lived in Steele from before 1901 to 1914 when they moved to Blytheville. John B. was appointed Town Marshall of Steele April 8, 1908, and in 1902 was one of three Directors of the Steele School Board. My Great Grandfather, William Carroll Foster, a Civil War veteran, moved to Steele around 1900 and died there November 25, 1922. My Grandmother's parents, Thomas and Amanda Garner, lived in Pemiscot County and are found in the 1900 Census Volume 10, E. D. 93 Sheet 12, line 84, Little Prairie TWP. Thomas Garner died in 1907 at the age of 60. My greatest need is to verify his middle name or initial and then his parents names. Any connections or information? Larry Foster
