         Died at his home about 7 miles southwest of Perryville on Friday night, 30 January 1885, Mr. Michael Seifert, age 79 Years, 9 months, 2 days. Deceased was born in Norbein Germany in 1807 in the month of April In 1847 he came to America and settled in Perry County on the farm on which he died. He left surviving him his wife, 4 children, two boys and two girls, 20 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The funeral took place last Sunday Burial at German Catholic Church Cemetery Perryville

    Peter Seifert,
         75 years of age died in Perryville October 3, 1930.  The funeral was held Saturday at St. Mary's Seminary, service by Rev. Fischer with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Perryville, Missouri. Mr. Seifert was born in Perry County February 2, 1855 and engaged in farm work throughout his life. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Marcella Jannin and Mrs. Joseph Chappius of near Silver Lake, Missouri; and Mrs. Thomas Grissom of St. Louis, Missouri; and two sons, Michael of Saginaw, Michigan; and William of Bennett, Iowa.
