    Comments:
On the 1870 census for Perry Co. my gg grandparents are listed as Peter Miller age 32 born Prussia. Wife, Dorhuler (Giboney) Miller age 27, born Mo./father born Tn. Son Hubert Miller age 1. Mary Giboney age 48 born Tn. and Neal Brown age 21 born Tn. Dorthula Giboney and Peter Miller were married in 1865 in St. Marys. They had two children: Thomas Herbert(Hubert) Miller born in 1869 and my g grandmother, Lottie Mae Miller born in 1872. I do not know how the person named Neal Brown is related to the family? Dorthula Giboney Miller died abt. 1877. The 1880 census shows both children,Thomas Hubert and Lottie Mae living in two different counties with two different families. They are listed as servants or other. Lottie lived in Iron Co. with the Betzel family. Thomas Herbert lived in Wayne Co.
Peter Miller told the children he had to go back to Germany and would come back to get them. He was never heard from again. I do not know if the families that they were left with were related to them? By 1900 Thomas Herbert and Lottie were living with Lottie and her husband in Mississippi Co. Mo. Lottie was married to George F. Moore of Fredericktown,Mo. in Madison Co. in 1893. According to letters Lottie lived in a house in Madison Co. with other people named Miller. I do not know for certain if they were related. Thomas Herbert was listed as a shoemaker. Lottie was a Milner.

Isham Giboney- blacksmith age 35 born in Ky. wife, Mary born in Tn., siblings of Dorthula: Sarah E, David P, Hulda F, Thomas W, Lycurgus, Susan.
