I am looking for information on a Carl Schrempp whose mother was Julia C, her parents were herman Irusmaier and Josephine Michick. I don't have much information about them. I know that Julia was born Abt. 1863 in Missouri. I found a Carl Schrempp who died in Missouri Oct 1979 in Perry Co., Missouri and born 16 May 1895. I just wondered if this is the same Carl schrempp I am looking for. Any help would be appreciated.

Johann (John) SCHMIDT, Jr. b 1860 in Zedersitz, Kulmbach, GER md Margarete SCHMIDT (maiden name, also) in GER in 1884. They arr Perry Co, MO in 1886. His pts Johann, Sr. & w, Catherine & his sister, Kunigunda, also came with this couple. There may have been others.
Kunigunda md John Kline & abt 1900 & moved to CA. Johann, Sr. had died soon after arrival in the U.S. & Catherine went to CA to live with Kunigunda & John Kline. Family lore says they either lived in Orange or LA county.
Did John Kline & Kunigunda Schmidt marry in Perry Co?

I have some information on Burns, and Phillips (quite a bit on these that I received from a cousin, but have not been able to pin down information on Margaret Taylor who married David Burns and they had a son, James J. Burns. David died fairly young but not sure what happened to Margaret after his death.
Anybody out there know anything about the Taylors?

Trying to find information in regard to Adolf Henry Oehlert - who died in
Perry County, January 23, 1888. He was born August 15, 1822, married to
Christiane (Walther) Oehlert - born 1823. We have no death date and do
not know where she was buried or what happened to her. Did she outlive
Adolf and live someplace else. Did she die before Adolf? We have no
marriage date. We have record of three children. One, Wilhelmina, born
April 7, 1847, who moved later to Kansas City. Her husband was Johann
Ludwig Mutschler who also died in KC area.
Second child, Adolph Heinrich Robert, born Feb.7, 1851, later moved to
Kansas, where he died April 2, 1933, Cheney,KS. His wife was Minna
Petrina Engert, married October 16, 1876. She was born Feb. 5, 1859,
Altenburg, MO and died Mar 6, 1918, Cheney, KS. They had 9 children.
Third child died as infant. Many Oehlerts lived in southeast Kansas
area. The name is closely associated with the name Wulf.
Adolf Henry Oehlert had three brothers. All married in Altenburg, Perry
County, MO. 1. Johann Gottfried, b. 1828 married a Brauner. We have no
death date for Johann Gottfried. 2. Johann Gottlieb, b. 1932 married a
Krause. He died Mar. 8, 1912, we assume in Perry County, but maybe not.
3. Tobias, b. 1835 married a Harnag.
Adolf Henry Oehlert's parents were Johann Gottfried Oehlert b. 1799
Germany (Saxony) d. Cape Girardeau County. He married Marie Rosin, who
was born May 1, 1793, Germany and died before 1857, Altenburg, MO
As you can see I have much information on the Oehlert side (but would
like to have more information) but nothing really on the Christiane
Walther Oehlert side of the family. I do not know the date of birth or
place of birth or the date of death or place of burial.
I realize this may be out of the scope of what you want on the message
board. However, I am at 75 years of age myself, hopeful to find out more
about Christiane Walther because my grandmother was named Christiane
Hulda Oehlert, no doubt after her grandmother; And, she was married to
Willaim August George Wulf, who lived and died in Cheney, Kansas, area.
They married November 17,1902. The word that my mother received from her
mother, Christiane Hulda Oehlert Wulf was that she was related to
C.F.W.Walther. How is not said. I also saw this information in a Haven,
Kansas, community book that was printed quite awhile ago. Now, if she
was related to C.F.W.Walther someone out there may know how she was
related.
I hope that this message makes some sense to those who read it. Thank
you so much for your help. Yes there is a connection with Perry County,
Missouri, but we are not always certain what that connection is.

Looking for any info on Mary Josephine Elzine Robinson. She was the daughter of Ellen Monica Moore and Thomas Jefferson Robinson. Mary Josephine Elzine married Henry Joseph Alphonse Whistler August 27th 1901 in Perry County.
