Arnold J. Carroll
Arnold J Carroll was born
to William Livingston Carroll and Susan Mary Marshall on June 5,
1890 in Scott County, Mo. He had been married but divorced.
Arnold J Carroll 46 , was
beaten to death with a claw hammer in the basement quarters of his home in
Wellston, yesterday. He was found shortly after 2 p.m. inside the door with
his skull crushed in six or seven places from the blows of the weapon, which
was found near the body.
Carroll, a paper hanger, is
survived by a sister Mrs. Mary Hulen who told the officers she knew of no
reason for anyone to attack him. He is also survived by his parents and three
brothers, who reside at Sikeston, Mo.
