On Nov 6, 1918, he wed Miss Loretta Gregory Miller at St. Genevieve, Mo. to this union 6 children were born; Leonard NicholasCarroll, William Edward Carroll, Peter Marshall Carroll (twin to Paul), Paul Miller Carroll (twin to Peter), Baby Boy (Franklin) Carroll, and Virginia Mary Carroll. Soon after the last child was born, this union divorced. William N Carroll wed Grace Kennemer. Survivors are his wife Grace, and children Leonard Carroll, Wm E Carroll of Manchester, Mo, Paul Carroll of West Chester, Pa., and Virginia Carroll of Kabul, Afghanistan, grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery, Sikeston, Mo.
