Wade Finis Faulconer - 1886 - 1860 On April 10, 1911, he was married to Miss Illma Bench, at West Plaines, Missouri. To this union were born ten children, one son preceded him in death. In 1940, Mr. Faulconer and family moved to this community where he engaged in farming until his retirement when he moved to Perkins. He is survived by his wife; seven sons Lloyd of Portland, Oregon, Denton of St. Louis, Missouri, Curtis, Boyd and Ernest of Kansas City, Missouri, Chief Warrant Officer Finis Faulconer with the U.S. Armed Service stationed in Germany, and Frank of Little Rock, Arkansas; two daughters Mrs. Artrefis Hartsell at home and Mrs. Edward Hoensell of Kansas City, Missouri; three brothers Ernest, Clarence and Otto of Wagoner, Oklahoma; two sisters Mrs. Joe Henson of Wagoner, Oklahoma and Mrs. David Wire of Kansas City, Missouri; twenty grandchildren and four great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and a large host of friends. NOTE: The obituary is contributed by Floyd Cooper, from the records of his grandfather Rev. William Sidney Bailey who was pastor of several churches around southeast Missouri in the 1940's, 1950's, 1960's and 1970's (Perkins, Chaffee, Commerce, Hayti, Wyatt, Clarkton, and Blodgett). Rev. Bailey was living in Perkins when he died at the age of 82 and is buried in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins, MO.
