    Callie E. Forgason - 1890 - 1973
    Callie Ellen Forgason    , residence Morley, Missouri, born November 1, 1890, Morley, Missouri, passed away October 14, 1973, age 82 years.

    She was daughter of the late William and Martha E. Comstock Gibbs.  On May 31, 1913, she married Harry Forgason who died July 31, 1943. 

    Survived by:
        1 daughter, Mrs. Christine Jefford, Peoria, Illinois;
        3 sons   H.B. Forgason of Markleville, Indiana, Thomas Forgason of Peoria, Illinois, Robert Forgason of Bartonville, Illinois;
        2 brothers W. J. Gibbs of Porterville, California, Norman Gibbs of Detroit, Michigan;
        1 sister Miss Lela Gibbs of Deering, Missouri;
        6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, a number of other relatives and friends also survive.

    Services October 17, 1973, 2 pm, Blodgett Baptist Church, Place of Interment Old Morley Cemetery, Clergyman Reverend W. S. Bailey.

NOTE: The obituary is contributed by Floyd Cooper, from the records of his grandfather Rev. William Sidney Bailey who was pastor of several churches around southeast Missouri in the 1940's, 1950's, 1960's and 1970's (Perkins, Chaffee, Commerce, Hayti, Wyatt, Clarkton, and Blodgett). Rev. Bailey was living in Perkins when he died at the age of 82 and is buried in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins, MO.
