Mrs. Martha L. Forrester
Mrs. Martha L. Forrester, 80 years old, who lived at Perkins for
25 years, died Friday night there. She was the widow of the late Wm. N. Forrester, who
passed away 13 years ago. She was born in Tennessee on July 18, 1868, and moved to Perkins
from Diehlstadt. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joe Ware of Perkins; a son, Alvis
Forrester of Flint, Mich.; and a sister, Mrs. R.M. Reeves of Nunnelly Tenn. There are six
grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Last rites were at the Perkins Baptist church,
conducted by Rev. C.E. Warren of Oran and burial was in Friend cemetery, with the Earl J.
Smith Funeral Home in charge.
