Hattie M. Head - 1901 - 1970 She was united in marriage June 25, 1923 to Charles W. Head, he survives. To this union 7 children were born, Charles D. Head, Fairfax, Va., John D. Head, Kokomo, Indiana, Delcia O. Head, St. Louis, Mo., Silas Delbert Head, Blytheville, Arkansas, Denver Head, Painton, Mo., Mrs. Naamon Eaker, Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Clifford Doyle Head, Painton, Mo. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. 1 sister and 1 brother preceded her in death. She was a member of the Barks Chapel General Baptist Church, Whitewater, Missouri. NOTE: The following obituary is contributed by Floyd Cooper, from the records of his grandfather Rev. William Sidney Bailey who was pastor of several churches around southeast Missouri in the 1940's, 1950's, 1960's and 1970's (Perkins, Chaffee, Commerce, Hayti, Wyatt, Clarkton, and Blodgett). Rev. Bailey was living in Perkins when he died at the age of 82 and is buried in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins, MO.
