Agnes Lena HOLMES

Agnes Lena HOLMES was born Sept. 12, 1875, the daughter of Wm. &
Charlotte HOLMES & departed this life Mar. 8, 1937, at the age of 61 yrs., 1
mo. & 26 days. Sept. 3, 1891, she was united in marriage to J. C. BROWN of which union
4 children were born, 2 children and her husband preceded her in death several
years ago. Those surviving are
Leonard BROWN, of Essex, with whom she made her home, & Mrs. Mollie
MONTGOMERY of Lilbourne, Mo.; 2 grandchildren, Thurman & Thelma
MONTGOMERY;
2 sisters, Mrs. Alma WOLFE & Mrs. Hattie OSBORNE; 3 bros., Asa, Martin,
& Gus HOLMES. Funeral services were from the Essex Methodist Church at 2:30 p.m., Mar.
9, 1937, Rev. S. W. PULLIAM officiating. Burial
