Lottie HOLMES
- 1898-1923 The death angel visited the home of Mr. & Mrs. HOLMES &
claimed for its own the youngest daughter, Lottie, aged 25 yrs. & 14
days. She was born near Essex, Mo.,
Jan. 24, 1898, died Feb. 7, 1923, at 1 a.m. The remains were laid to rest in Triplett Cemetery, Saturday afternoon.
Funeral services were held at the church by Rev. L. P. DOYLE. Lottie was well known around Essex.
She was always cheerful, happy and thoughtful to others, always having a
pleasant word for everyone. Her
life though short, was an example that should be followed by all young people. She leaves a father, mother, 2 sisters, 2 brothers and a host of friends
to mourn her death.
