Edward A. Klump - 1901 - 1966 He was united in marriage March 12, 1924 to Katy Friedrich, who survives, to this union 3 children were born, all preceded him in death. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. August Tippett of Tucson, Arizona. One sister Mrs. Wayne Page preceded him in death. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 318, and was a former city plumbing inspector for the city of Cape Girardeau. He was converted May 4, 1962 and he united with the Perkins Baptist Church on May 27, 1962. He was baptized by Rev. Robert Medlock at the Delta Baptist Church. Arrangements were made by Morgan Funeral Home, services were conducted by Rev. W. S. Bailey of Perkins, burial was in Morgan Cemetery. NOTE: The following obituary is contributed by Floyd Cooper, from the records of his grandfather Rev. William Sidney Bailey who was pastor of several churches around southeast Missouri in the 1940's, 1950's, 1960's and 1970's (Perkins, Chaffee, Commerce, Hayti, Wyatt, Clarkton, and Blodgett). Rev. Bailey was living in Perkins when he died at the age of 82 and is buried in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins, MO.
