Mrs. Caroline Miller of Oran Succumbs special to the Missourian: 

Oran-- Mrs. Caroline Miller, 88 years old died Tuesday afternoon at her home in Oran. She was born Nov 19, 1864 in New Hamburg and has lived in Oran for 70 years. Her husband, Edward Miller died several years ago. She leaves three daughters, Miss Marie A Miller, Oran, Sister Michael of Rock Island, Ill, and Sister Virgil of Benton; two sons Joe E. Miller and Andrew C Miller of Oran. Also surviving is one brother, Lewis Kilhafner of Chaffee, seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The body was brought this afternoon from Welxh Funeral Home in Sikeston to Smith Funeral Home in Oran where it will remain until 9 am Friday, when funeral services will be held at Guardian Angel Catholic Church; Rev A J Poepsel will officiate Burial will be in the church cemetery.
